DUKE!!! Oh what a beautiful dog - inside and out! He decided one
day that we was going to adopt the wonderful people and sales staff at
PARKWAY
CHEVROLET. He
sauntered in the front doors and just made himself at home.
Duke found a family with kids that will love him and promises
to play lots of ball. Bones Please!!

Similarly, a family in Utah saw a Noah's Ark internet posting for
Foxy Brown, a Carolina dog.
They adopted Foxy and she flew to Salt Lake City. She is enjoying
the mountain air and the companionship of two other dogs in her new
home. Earlier in the year, a brown tabby cat named Coo also
flew to a new home in Golden, Colorado. The whole country loves
Noahs Ark animals. So will you! |

Through the power of the internet, some Noah's Ark Animals traveled to
new homes out of state.
A Karelian Bear Dog, H.B.,
had been at Noah's Ark for 2 years before he was discovered on
Petfinder.com by a
family in upstate NY. They adopted him and flew him to NY
using the Continental PetSafe program. H.B. (renamed Sonic) is now
swimming in streams, taking an agility class, and goes on regular
camping trips. |
| BANDIT was bounding, jumping and out of control when he first came to live at Noah's Ark. We thought he would never find a home if he didn't learn to behave... so off to the trainer he went to learn manners. He succeeded so well that he is now working as a service dog for someone who has epileptic seizures. Good Boy Bandit!! |

My name is RYAN and I am the cutest small Shepard mix you have ever seen! I came to Noah’s Ark severely sick and dehydrated…my shelter mommies weren’t sure I was going to make it…but they stuck with me and now I am a healthy vivacious guy! I was adopted by the BEST family ever with kids to play with a great backyard to run around!! Thank you shelter mommies and daddies! |
| KAYLA has been living with us for about 7 months now, and you would not believe how much she has grown. She weighs about 55 lbs. now and she still has another 3 or 4 months left to grow! She is a happy healthy puppy and she LOVES her new home. She spends her days lazing around in the shade and chasing squirrels and rabbits. Thank God she hasn't caught one yet. She knows all kinds of tricks, like fetch and pick-the-hand and high five and sit and lay down to name a few. She is also a wonderful protector! She is truly a blessing in our lives! Thanks So Much! HERSHEY'S KISSES: From Rags To Riches!! We adopted Hershey's Kisses (who became Noah Montgomery) in December 2001. He was set to be euthanized at Montgomery County animal shelter due to testing positive for heartworms. His guardian angel miraculously placed him with Noah's Ark. (His name came from Montgomery County and Noah's Ark Sanctuary). We found him on the internet and his name caught our eye. We went to look at him and instantly fell in love with him. We adopted him on a Saturday morning and immediately took him on a shopping spree at Petco. He got to pick out food, collar, leash, bowls, hat and a beautiful new sweater. As he was picking out his new goodies he was standing tall and proud in the basket as though he was a king. We just laughed because he had gone from rags to riches in a single day. Erin Hunt
TABITHA: I just wanted to let you know that Tabitha has adjusted very well to her new home. She is eating well and has made friends with our other dog. She sleeps with my eleven year old daughter. The children all love her greatly and she goes everywhere with us. Last weekend we took her to my daughter's soccer game and she was the hit of the game. She was lavished with attention by the 15 ten and eleven year old girls. Last night she joined us at a hot dog roast that we sponsored for our church's youth group. She had a great time playing with the 50 or so children there. She was especially loved by an 18 month baby that was also at the party. Tabitha is a wonderful addition to our family and we all feel honored to have her. We are lucky to have found her. Sincerely, Jill Bohannon
Hi. My name is
BUFFY
and I am an Aussie
Shepherd and Chow mix. I was adopted by
Dick and Nancy in February of
2000 at the PETCO on FM1960 in Houston, TX. That day Mom and
Dad decided to just go riding around and look at dogs that
could be adopted. They had seen my picture on Noah's A
rk website, but
Mom thought she wanted a younger dog (I was about 10 months
old). The only problem with that was, they fell totally in love with me
when they saw me in person. I went home with them that very
day.
We live in a house with a fenced in back yard, so I can go outside without a leash. Dad usually takes me for walks around the neighborhood during the day and in the evening. Sometimes Mom goes too. The children in our neighborhood like to pet me cause I'm so soft. I lie on my belly and smile at them. My smile looks like a snarl, except that my tail wags and my body wiggles.
I am very friendly, but shy. I don't like to get wet, so Dad and Mom have a difficult time getting me to go outside when it is raining or the sprinkler is going. I am afraid of noisy monsters like the one that eats dirt off the carpet and the one that eats the grass. I like to play fetch with my rawhide chewy. Whenever one of them is working at the computer, I lay under the desk so none of those monsters can get to me. Thank you Noah's Ark for being there for me and helping me find such a loving family to adopt.
Thank you for your support! Together we can make wonderful things happen!
