PET OF THE WEEK As of mid-June 2010, Noahs Ark took in a beautiful Lhasa Apso dog. We have no idea why someone named a female dog, Benji. So we have her listed as Miss Benji, She is about 5 years old and super sweet. We don't have alot of details on this dog except to say that she is WONDERFUL, cuddly, and adorable. She does bark at cats however. We are not sure she is spayed. So we will give you a voucher to take to our vet when you pay the $150 adoption fee. Come quick as she won't last.

This is O'Reilly. He lived at Noah's Ark for 3 years before being adopted to a great home. Somehow during Hurricane Ike he lost his home. O'Reilly is microchipped, but his owners failed to register their new address with AVID microchip company, so we're unable to re-unite him with his family. Microchips are life savers, but they're invalid if your information is not current. He's a very good dog, but needs a home without cats and preferably an only dog home. |

My name is Chocolate Harvey and I am so
sweet you'll want to gobble me up. I am 1 1/2 years
old and I really like to play. I am really good with
other dogs and love to run around and enjoy the good life
with other canines and a loving family. I
am VERY people-oriented and will give you a cute puppy-face
look until you play with me. Please come to Noah's Ark soon
so you can see if we are a match made in heaven. I am
a beautiful chocolate brown color and just as sweet as milk
chocolate. I hope you have room in your heart and home
for me. |

Babyface Mitch:
If
you looked at my picture, I'm sure you are teared up over my
baby face. I know I'm cute, but I try and be humble.
I am labeled as a terrier because my momma had a wee bit of
pit bull terrier in her. I am high energy and a young
lad. I need to run, jump, and play. If you want
to get some exercise, I can help. I am part-time pet
and part-time fitness trainer. I think its best if I
am in a home without cats. Come over and watch me run
around the Noah's Ark agility track. It's impressive
and oh so cute. |

CRESTED - both Hairless and Powder Puff Noah's Ark is cooperating with a breeder that
has fallen ill and can no longer care for her dogs. We are
helping with SEVENTY
Chinese Crested and Tea Cup Chihuahua's (not yet pictured). Due to the large number of
dogs and space
availability at the shelter, we are rescuing the dogs in phases.
The Chihuahua's are both
toy, miniature,
short hair, long hair, dark chocolate, cream
and all really adorable.
All
shelter dogs are spayed/neutered before being available for adoption as
required by Texas State Law. |

ZEUS
came to live at Noah's Ark at 6 weeks old
with sarcoptic and demodectic mange. He completely
lost all of his hair and was completely unsightly. With a LOT
of Tender Loving Care from the volunteers at the shelter, he is now
ready to find a home of his own. A very dedicated
volunteer personally sponsored his very expensive bottles of special
shampoo, salve and mite treatment. Zeus says,
"Thank You, I feel much better"!! Please call to
inquire about Zeus. He is a loving little dog and would make
a great family companion. He is leash and crate trained. |
